After getting done with our first run in Montezuma Bowl, we wanted a little more. But we didn’t want to hike. So we got off the lift, and traversed across the mountain until we got to Groswold.

As I was skiing down, I noticed something in the snow. When I got up to it, I realized it was a ski. I looked downhill, and there was no one in sight. So I skied a little ways down, and found another ski. By that time, I was able to see someone at the bottom, not wearing skis. I was kind enough to take the skis down to the man, who was very thankful.

On an icy day like that day, I learned you have to be very careful. Because one fall is all it takes. The terrain is so steep, that if you fall, you might not stop until you are at the bottom.

And you’ll see what I mean, when you see video of my last run.
