This was my last run of the day at Arapahoe Basin this past weekend....but not because I wanted it to be.
It was my last run, because I wiped out worse than I ever have before. Luckily, I did not get hurt. I had done this run earlier in the day, and I did it just fine. In fact, I do this run every time I go to A-Basin. But I learned, this run is not good when the conditions are icy. Especially for that first drop into the bowl. If your skis don’t catch an edge, you’re screwed.
And the video proves it.
