Hey everyone,
Im a CO native, lived here all my life, but my parents arent skiiers, and I grew up about 2 hours east of the mountains on the plains, so I've never been into skiing or boarding, but after 5 years in Denver I figure its time to hit it.
I'm looking for some insider tips on where the best place to get started snowboarding would be, what programs, mountains, resorts, gear, etc. I'd also like to meet some cool new people around my age (23) too. All my buddies are still in school & too broke to do this stuff with me & most of my cooworkers are 10+ years older, married, boring, etc.
One thing in particular I'm wondering about is what kind of changes I can make to my workout to get stronger in the areas that will help me learn faster. I'm assuming standard back & front squats, lunges, etc are great, but I'm looking for some more specific stuff, as I'm already proficient with the basic lower body stuff.
Thanks a ton!
